Membership terms and conditions

1. Memberships are personal to the member and are non-transferable.

2. Start up fees and membership fees are non-refundable upon registration or termination for any reason whatsoever

3. The management reserves the right to periodically review their prices, charges, and fees and implement these accordingly. VAT is applicable to all transactions a per local law.

4. Monthly subscription is payable on the 1st of every month through credit/ debit card arrangements as indicated by your signature on the membership application form

1. Failure to use the club or non-usage of the club’s facilities does not eliminate the obligation to pay all the subscriptions on time nor grants a refund.

2. If for any reason your credit card become inactive, it is your responsibility to provide the club with new credit card details immediately. For payments that default on the 1st of the month they will be subsequently charged.

3. The management will cancel any membership on which fees are unpaid for three months, thereafter the management also has the right to continue to attempt to charge for these dues accordingly. Legal action will be taken to recover any outstanding dues from the member. You may not rejoin any of our club until outstanding amount is paid.

4. A one month of membership can not be frozen. The freeze period must be for a duration of not less than one month and for a maximum 3 months in AED 47.5 + applicable taxes per month will be applicable. Member’s can’t use the club its services or facilities during this period and freeze can not be used as a notice of cancellation.

5. Member’s applying for “termination” or “freeze” from the club must complete a form with the general manager prior to the 25th of the current month, for the request to take effect of the following month.

6. Cancellation of any upfront payment. Membership is not permitted and the amount paid is non-refundable

7. All monthly paid memberships are open ended, therefore we will continue to deduct membership dues until a request to cancel its received from the member. Monthly memberships do not automatically cancel after the initial minimum term indicated. Such requests must be made in writing to the club’s general manager before the 25th of the month for the next month to be considered as the last month of dues. The member shall obtain a confirmation in writing from the club that the termination has been applied.

8. Members and their guests exercise and use the facilities at their own risk and are advised to consult their physician prior to commencing any type of physical exercise

9. Temporary lockers will be provided by the club and must be cleared daily. Unclaimed prosperities will be kept by the club for a period of 1 week after which the management reserves the right to dispose of the items in any way it sees fit. The management does not take any responsibility for the items kept in the lockers.

10. All members must abide by the rules of the club and adhere to the etiquette of the club, which may be amended and / or added to from time to time at the management’s discretion specific childcare policy applies.

11. BEFIT doesn’t accept responsibility for loss or damage to member or their guests’ properties. Members and their guests agree that no claims will be made against the company, BEFIT, the management or staff or any reason whatsoever

12. All amounts payable under this agreement shall be exclusive of value added tax or similar indirect tax where VAT is payable under this agreement, the consideration for the supply of goods/ services shall be increased by an amount equal to the amount of VAT, applicable at the prevailing rate at the time such supply is made. Payment of VAT, as applicable under law, is a prerequisites under this agreement.
